Duns dumped out of cup.

Dundela 3-4 Fivemiletown Utd Irish Cup Rd 4 @Wilgar Park 03/12/16

The Duns were dumped out of  Irish Cup by little Fivemiletown United in what can only be described as a horror first half display which left them with too much to do in the second half.
Despite falling behind early on with the away sides first real attack they immediately struck back through Matthew Ferguson and looked to have settled in to their rhythm, however an error by keeper David Ferguson allowed the visitors to regain the lead.
Things then went from bad to worse for the big keeper as he was beaten from a free kick and then a cross shot to leave the home side trailing at the break by four goals to one.
HT 1-4
Dundela came out firing on all cylinders in the second half determined to make amends for that horror first half and got back into the game with two quick goals from Ferguson (his second) and Ryan Leetch on as a second half substitute.
However try as they might the equalizer was not to come as the visitors defended in numbers to thwart the Dundela strikers.
When the referee blew his whistle to bring the game to an end it was clear for all to see that this was a major  result for Fivemiletown as the players celebrated with the large travelling support.
FT 3-4

Not much credit given to the away team, thoroughly deserved the win and should have scored more in the second half. some talented players as well.
