Honours even with United

Dundela 2-2 Limavady United League @ Wilgar Park 07/01/17

With form improving, Dundela welcomed Limavady to Wilgar for this league encounter and will be disappointed to end up with a point despite the visitors being arguably the best side they’ve faced this season.
Despite a bright start the home side had nothing to show for their efforts until almost 30 minutes had been played when Lewis Roy bundled the ball in for a deserved lead.
Limavady caused some anxiety in the home defence as they searched for the leveller but it was The Duns who grabbed the next goal when the tireless McClelland headed in a fine goal.
Their hopes were dealt a blow however as in added on time at the end of the half Hume got a goal back for the vistors.
HT 2-1
Both sides played some great football as they searched for the next goal and it was the away side who got it when McClelland conceded a penalty and Hume doubled his tally from the spot with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining to earn the Roesiders a point.
FT 2-2
