Central defender Kyle Owens has been named as Dundela player of the month for April. The selection this month was made by the club committee.

Dundela’s deadly duo of Ben Roy and William Faulkner will be playing premier league football next season after agreeing to join newly promoted Ards F. C.  Both players leave with the good wishes from everyone connected with Dundela.

Ben and William both stated that it was a wrench to be leaving such a great club as The Duns and expressed their thanks to all at the club and in particular manager Mark Snodden.

Congratulations to Ben Roy! The star striker has just picked up his second player of the month award from the football writers.

This award is no more than Ben deserves as his goal scoring exploits have helped keep Dundela  in the top three or four in the league after promotion last season.

Dundela’s young midfielder Jamie Jackson has won the clubs player of the month award for March.

Jamie was delighted with his award which this month was sponsored by Mr Megaw father of the club’s popular coach Gary.
